Village School Program & Jhak Child Development Center
In the geographically isolated mountain settlement of Khanigaun, Dhorpatan Rural Municipality, Baglung, ILIN transformed early childhood learning through the Jhak Child Development Center.
We refurbished the cold, fragile building into a warm, safe, child-friendly space filled with colorful Montessori toys, textbooks, and drawing stationery. We fund teacher salaries and pedagogy workshops, supply annual warm winter uniforms, and run community awareness meetings for Magar and Dalit parents.
