Support for Health and Rural Education (SHARE 2) is the current phase of ILIN’s rural health mission, building on the nationwide success of SHARE 1. Running since 2024, it continues to bring free, quality healthcare directly to communities that face long journeys and unaffordable costs to reach a hospital — including rural Dolakha, Rasuwa, Baglung, and Terai communities. The project delivers free community health screening, specialist doctor consultations, and mobile diagnostics such as ultrasound, ECG, and laboratory tests, along with subsidized surgical interventions for those who need them. By taking specialists, equipment, and medicines into isolated areas, SHARE 2 aims to reach more than 3,500 people, extending accessible rural healthcare to some of Nepal’s most underserved communities.
