WHAT WE DO
An Interconnected, Community-First Approach
Rather than single-sector fixes, ILIN solves interdependent community challenges by combining education, accessible healthcare, female vocational skills, and sustainable livelihoods.
Education & Scholarships
Empowering Youths through Education & Skills (EYES 1-4) scholarships, covering college tuition, vocational certification, hostel living, and learning materials.
Support for Health & Rural Education (SHARE 1 & 2) bringing free specialist doctors, sonography, cataract surgeries, medicines, and eyeglasses to remote villages.
Revitalizing high-altitude remote schools such as Jhak Child Development Center in Baglung with warm child-friendly classrooms, teacher coaching, and books.
Free community health screening, specialist doctor consultations, mobile diagnostics (ultrasound, ECG, lab tests), and subsidized surgical interventions.
“Before ILIN's Make-WISE training, I had no income and feared how I would educate my two children. Today, I earn over 25,000 rupees every month from my own shop and I can proudly pay my children's school fees on time.”
Maya was struggling to make ends meet after losing her husband. Without vocational training or capital, her job prospects were limited to unstable manual labor. Through ILIN’s Make-WISE program, Maya received 12 months of structured training in basic, intermediate, and advanced garment design. Equipped with sewing mastery and a sewing machine upon graduation, she launched her own neighborhood tailoring shop in Goldhunga. Today, she sews school uniforms, custom kurta suruwals, and cloth bags, employing two other women from her community.
Network of certified ophthalmologists, surgeons, and teaching hospitals conducting free diagnostic screenings and cataract surgeries for ILIN patients.
Together, We Can Transform More Lives
Every rupee and dollar directly sponsors a child’s classroom materials, a mother’s tailoring machine, or an elderly villager’s vision-restoring surgery.
